Does LOGiiT meet the industry standard?

LOGiiT is a digital logbook platform that helps divers and supervisors easily log, verify, and share dive logs for compliance with industry standards, as set by IMCA.

Is my data safe on LOGiiT?

Yes, LOGiiT uses secure encryption and industry-standard practices to ensure your data is safe. You can also download your data at any time in CSV or JSON format for backup.

Can I share my logbook with multiple people or companies?

Yes, you can share your logbook with as many people as needed. You can customise which dives to share by selecting the relevant tasks or projects before sending it.

What happens if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, click on “Forgot Password” on the login page. You’ll receive an email with instructions to reset your password.

How do I delete my account?

If you want to delete your LOGiiT account, go to “Manage Account” and select “Delete Account.” You will first be prompted to download all your data. Please note, deleting your account will remove all your data permanently from the system. Ensure that you backup and safeguard your downloaded data file.

Is there a trial period for using Logiit?

No, You can register for free, and will only be required to pay membership fees once you want to verify dives or share your logbook.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel your membership anytime through “Manage Account.” However, you will still have access to your account until the end of the billing cycle.

Can I use Logiit internationally?

Yes, LOGiiT is available worldwide, provided you have internet access. It supports divers and supervisors across different regions.

What happens if I lose access to my email account?

If you lose access to your registered email account, contact LOGiiT support to verify your identity and help update your email address.

Can I get notifications on my phone?

Yes, you can set up email notifications that can be accessed from your mobile device. In the future, mobile push notifications will be available when the dedicated app is launched.

What happens if a dive log is not verified?

If a dive log is not verified, it will remain pending. The diver must follow up with the supervisor, or the system will keep the dive log in an incomplete state until verified.

What if I need a refund?

For payment-related issues, including refunds, contact LOGiiT support with your payment details and issue. The support team will guide you through the refund policy and procedure.

How do I register as a Supervisor on LOGiiT

Go to logiit.co and click on “Register Now.”
Enter your details as per your ID document.
Select your role as “Supervisor.”
Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions (T&Cs).
Click on “Create Profile.”
Check your inbox and click the “Verify My Email Address” link.
Complete your profile by uploading the necessary documents.
Your profile will be submitted to the LOGiiT Compliance team for verification and activation.

How do I verify a diver’s request?

Go to “Notifications.”
Open the relevant notification.
Review and confirm the details provided.
Check the box to “Approve” or “Deny” the request.

How do I verify competency submissions?

Go to “Notifications.”
Open the competency request.
Review the diver’s submission and confirm the details.(Always refer to IMCA C003)
Click “Approve” or “Deny” to complete the verification.

How do I invite a diver to join LOGiiT?

You can share the registration link for divers found on logiit.co. They can follow the registration process outlined for divers.

What do I do if I notice an error in a diver’s log?

If you notice an error in a diver’s log, simply deny the request, and the diver will be able to make corrections and resubmit it for approval.

Where do I view projects and dives that I have supervised?

Your work history will be displayed in your dashboard under “Previous Projects”.

How do I update my personal information or documents?

Go to “Manage Profile.”
Click on the section where you want to update information (e.g., personal details, certifications).
Make your changes and click “Save Changes.”
Blocked fields can be updated by sending a request to LOGiiT support.

Can I verify multiple dive logs at once?

Yes the functionality exists, however as the supervisor you are responsible for the accuracy of the data and we therefor encourage you to do them individually. This is to ensure you have reviewed all the information thoroughly before it is approved.

Can I verify dive logs if I am offline?

No, you need to be connected to the internet to log into LOGiiT and verify dive logs. However, you can receive notifications and check dive details once you’re online.

Can I reject a diver's log without providing a reason?

Yes, but it’s recommended to provide feedback so the diver can make necessary corrections.

What if a diver disputes my rejection?

If a diver disputes your rejection, they can contact you directly to resolve any misunderstandings.

How do I register on LOGiiT?

Go to logiit.co and click on “Register Now.”
Fill in your personal details exactly as they appear on your ID document.
Select your role as “Diver.”
Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions (T&Cs).
Click on “Create Profile.”
Check your inbox for a verification email and click on the “Verify My Email Address” link.
Complete your profile by adding all the required documents.
Submit your profile for verification to a LOGiiT-registered Supervisor (note: the system will reject any unregistered supervisor’s email address).
Complete the payment and KYC (you will need an ID or passport for this step).

How do I log my first dive?

Navigate to “Projects.”
Create a New Project.
Click on “Add Your First Dive.”
Upload an image of the company log sheet, filled out and signed by the onsite Supervisor.
Complete all necessary fields with the required dive information.
Enter the email of the onsite registered LOGiiT Supervisor.
Click on “Save and Send for Verification.”
Once the project is finished, and all dives have been logged and verified, click on “Close Project.”

How do I add a Competency?

Go to “Manage Profile.”
Scroll to the Competencies section and select the correct Competency code, as listed in IMCA C 003.
Enter the email of the onsite registered Logiit Supervisor.
Click “Update Profile” to save your changes.

How can I share my dive log sheets with a company?

Click on “Share Logbook.”
Choose a specific task or filter to select the relevant dives.
Select the dives you wish to share.
Enter the email address of the person or company you want to share your logbook with.
Click “Share Logbook.”

How do I download my data?

Go to “Manage Account.”
Choose either “Download CSV” or “Download JSON.”
Save the file to your device.
Be sure not to edit the downloaded file, as this may affect its validity.

Which documents are required to complete my profile?

To complete your profile, you will need:

A copy of your valid ID or passport.
Any certifications related to your diving qualifications.
Proof of completed medical checks (if applicable).

How long does the verification process take?

The verification process is instant, however it can depend on the availability of the registered “LOGiiT” Supervisor.

What happens if my supervisor is not registered on LOGiiT?

If your supervisor is not registered on LOGiiT, the system will reject their email address. You can either invite them to register or find a registered supervisor to verify your dive.

Can I log dives without a project?

No, all dives must be logged under a project. You need to create a project first and then log dives within that project.

Can I edit my dive log after submitting it for verification?

No, once you submit a dive log for verification, it cannot be edited . If there is an error, the “LOGiiT” registered Supervisor must reject it, and then you can make the necessary corrections.

Can I register without a supervisor?

You can create your profile without a supervisor, but you won’t be able to log dives or get verifications until you have a registered “LOGiiT” Supervisor linked to your account.

What if my verification email doesn’t arrive?

Check your spam or junk email folder.
Ensure you entered the correct email during registration.
If you still haven’t received the email, click “Resend Verification Email” on the LOGiiT site or contact LOGiiT support.

Can I use LOGiiT for non-commercial dives?

No, Logiit is designed primarily for commercial diving, you can only log commercial dives.

Is there a mobile app for LOGiiT?

Currently, LOGiiT is available through a web platform accessible on any device with internet access. Our mobile app will be launched very soon and will come with offline capabilities to ensure you can log dives even in remote areas with limited or no internet.

What happens if a project isn't closed?

If a project isn’t closed, you won’t be able to finalise your dive logs. Ensure that all dives are logged, verified, and the project is officially closed to avoid incomplete records.

How and where will my total dive hours reflect?

Once a project is completed, your total dive hours will be added and displayed on your dashboard.

Can I upload previous dive logs before I joined LOGiiT?

Not at present, our team is working hard on a new feature that will allow you to capture all your historical log’s, save and store it securely in digital format on your LOGiiT profile.

Can I upload old dives from my paper logbooks?

Not at the present moment. However, this feature is currently in development and will soon allow you to take photos of each page from your paper logbook. The system will read your handwriting, convert it to a digital format, and automatically save it to your profile. Stay tuned for updates as we roll out this new functionality!
